Vikas Teotia is a distinguished research and development professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field of project coordination, execution, and business development. His career is marked by a deep expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, making him adept at navigating the complexities of data collection and analysis. Mr. Teotia has conducted and overseen numerous focus group discussions (FGDs), in-depth interviews (IDIs), and diverse survey techniques, including household, corporate, and social surveys, demonstrating his versatility and thorough understanding of research dynamics.

As a seasoned project manager, Mr. Teotia has led large-scale field operations across various regions in India, ensuring the seamless execution of projects through precise planning, rigorous training, and effective data validation processes. His leadership in field operations is characterized by a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. In his current role as the Proprietor of CSRD Consulting, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to cultivate strong client relationships, driving organizational growth through strategic problem-solving, innovative approaches, and a sharp focus on analytical excellence. Dr. Ananth S Panth

M&E Expert

Dr. Ananth S Panth is an expert in entrepreneurship, food security, agriculture, and rural development, with over 25 years of experience. He holds a Master’s in Development Planning and Management from the University of Mysore, an M.Phil. in Applied Economics, and a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, specializing in rural household food security.

Throughout his career, Dr. Panth has led impactful projects, including entrepreneurship development programs for women and youth in Karnataka and disaster-affected regions of Gujarat. He has worked extensively on drought mitigation in Andhra Pradesh and women's empowerment initiatives in Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand.

In research, he has focused on entrepreneurship, livelihoods, SHGs, microfinance, and socio-economic studies. His teaching experience spans postgraduate programs in NGO Management and MBA courses, covering topics like economics, entrepreneurship, and business research. Dr. Panth is proficient in English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.

Swati Amrit

Associate Director – Research and Strategic Planning

Over her fourteen years of experience in the development sector, Swati Amrit possesses expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. The scope of the research projects mostly revolved around various facets of research studies-development of research tools, training & team supervision of research investigators, data management, analysis and documentation. She possesses a good communication skill. She has a post-graduate degree in sociology and English literature.

As a Research Consultant, she has an opportunity to work on the research assignments sponsored by World Vision India, UNICEF, FHI 360, PHFI, CARE India, Ambedkar University (New Delhi), Ipsos, ActionAid etc. in health, Nutrition, women empowerment and education domain.

Srisha Singh

Sr. Research Manager

With almost a decade of experience in the development sector, Srisha Singh has vast experience of working with grassroot and international organization. With a rich and diverse experience in program implementation, training, documentation, data management, and monitoring, her core competencies are in developing/editing high-level documents/content/communication tools for wide stakeholders including government, media, donors, etc. in areas of Reproductive, Maternal, Child, Adolescent Health, & Nutrition, and Gender.

Backed with Masters degree of Community Medicine and Public Health, she had an experience of working with countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines and Indonesia to support them in project management and development of knowledge management products.

Nikhil R Yadav

Research Associate

With over six years of experience in the agricultural and allied sectors, Nikhil Yadav has developed a strong foundation in both theoretical research and practical fieldwork. His extensive hands-on experience in solving complex agricultural challenges is complemented by his expertise in developing tools and technologies that enhance agricultural research and provide actionable recommendations.

As a Research Consultant and master degree in agriculture, Nikhil has worked on several high-impact assignments for prestigious national and international organizations, including Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), Sahyadri Farms, and Dr. PDKV, Akola. His comprehensive understanding of the agricultural ecosystem and research methodologies has allowed him to drive meaningful solutions.

Nikhil is also a successful agri-entrepreneur, leading his startup, Krushishastra, which has garnered multiple national awards for its innovation in digital agriculture. His extensive network spans over 40,000 farmers across Maharashtra and 12,000 agriculture students throughout India. His leadership in building this network reflects his commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture and supporting future agri-entrepreneurs.

Dr. Amit Rahul

Dr. Amit Rahul is the Head of the Department of Sociology and the IQAC Coordinator at Kishori Sinha Mahila College, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. With an M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, he has 14 years of experience in teaching, training, and applied social research. He is a recipient of the prestigious UGC NET-JRF & SRF scholarships and the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

Dr. Rahul has extensive experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) studies, participatory appraisals, and socio-economic research across India, including in Uttarakhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Delhi. His research covers a wide array of issues such as migration, rural livelihoods, poverty, slums, street children, gender studies, micro-finance, and sanitation.

He has collaborated with prominent national and international organizations, including UNICEF, UNOPS-WSSCC, Plan International, and the Government of India. Dr. Rahul is also a life member of the Indian Sociological Society and a founder member of ‘Dharohar-The Society for Handwork Promotion’.

Jayant Kumar

Jayant Kumar, an alumnus of Hansraj College, Delhi University, and a management graduate, brings over two decades of program management experience. He is currently associated with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where he leads the Central Program Management Unit (CPMU), providing technical support to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. His role involves overseeing over 800 projects, collectively worth over a thousand crores, spanning education, health, livelihoods, infrastructure, road and IT connectivity.

He has recently led the CPMU in the launch and rollout of the PM JANMAN (PVTG) Mission. His responsibilities include reviewing project proposals from various states, facilitating their approval by the Secretary-headed PAC, ensuring compliance adherence, and monitoring the physical and financial progress of projects across India. His efforts have ensured the optimal utilization of resources through a robust online system managing project progress across 26 states and UTs.

In addition to his programmatic duties, Jayant has contributed to UNDP’s business development by establishing new Program Management Units (PMUs) in states like Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Tripura. He has also led multi-functional teams within international NGOs, developed advocacy briefs, and liaised with government officials and the media for program support. His work has been presented at national and international forums, including UN conferences.

Anup Murari Rajan

Anup Murari Rajan, an alumnus of International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai and a management graduate has been working in the development sector for more than 24 years and is experienced in conducting quantitative and qualitative research. The scope of the research projects mostly revolved around various facets of research studies-development of research methodology, data management, analysis and documentation. He possesses good communication and networking skills. He has worked for national and international organizations like UNICEF, Plan India, CARE India, PATH, and others, as well as a consulting firm called Ecorys, which is based in the Netherlands. He worked as a Research Officer in NFHS-II (1998 to 1999).

In addition to managing INGO operations with multi-disciplinary teams and leading projects as a program person, he has also been engaged in liaison and networking with Government departments. As a professional, he had the chance to participate in short-term advanced training at international platforms such as Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood in Singapore and SIDA in Stockholm, Sweden.

Experience and Profile

Professional experience includes working on notable projects such as the Norway-India Partnership Initiative (NIPI) and managing key donor projects for organizations like BMGF, UNDP, USAID, career spans various roles in organizations, served as a State Nutrition Specialist at IHAT, a Program Officer at Cure (IPE Global), a Nutrition Consultant at the National Centre of Excellence, an Academic Associate in Nutrition at IGNOU University Delhi, and a State Nutrition Consultant at WCD, Bhopal.

Her key skills encompass a wide range of areas, including Human Nutrition, Health, Research, Monitoring, Evaluation, Community-based Management, Child Feeding, SMART Methodology, and more. She has contributed significantly to projects related to Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning, Immunization, and Vitamin A supplementation.

In addition to her professional roles, she has contributed to research and publications in the field of nutrition and public health.
