Decentralized Solar Hydrogen for Rural India (DeSHI)
Location: Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu | Donor: IRMA, Anand
This project explored the potential of decentralized solar hydrogen systems to power rural communities across India. We conducted a survey of 500 households and facilitated 10 focus group discussions (FGDs) and 10 in-depth interviews (IDIs) with stakeholders. Our role involved comprehensive data collection, FGDs, IDIs, data analysis, and using CAPI software to ensure accurate and real-time data processing. The study's findings are poised to contribute significantly to India's renewable energy and climate change mitigation strategies.
